I have an LG Smart TV and I’m bummed that this didn’t work for me! I’ve always been hard wired. When plugging in the adapter, I see links lights on the adapter but it never connects. It’s also not showing as connected in my router either. Is it possible that it’s because the adapter is USB 3.0?

The whole point of wifi extenders is to use them where it is hard to run a cable. If I could run a cable from the router I wouldn't need one.

Unixes and Linuxes have uptimes measured in months, some in years. Whether you reset windows or not, a software update will do it for you. I shutdown win 10 daily, before Microsoft does it for me. Win 10 is my limit, I will not be upgrading their buggy software any more.
